Your Teeth Can Heal Naturally!

This post may contain affiliate links. Please see my Disclosure for more Info.

Remember the last time I told you about how I was trying out oil pulling to deal with some teeth Issues I was having. In learning to heal your teeth naturally is pretty cool. Well the oil pulling has been going very well. In fact I was very impressed with the results I have been having with just oil pulling alone. The main oil that I use is coconut oil, early in the morning and at night. Coconut oil is known to have anti bacterial and anti- viral Factors when it comes to fighting infection and killing off germs.

In Fact, it has proven to be something very beneficial in my daily routine.

Well coconut oil is not the only oil that I have been using, I also have used a oil pulling formulation which I purchased from whole foods  for more than 6 months now. It contains a mixture of sesame oil, myrrh and other goodies.)  The one I like to use is this one.

So that is why when I heard that Oral Wellness is hosting a seminar on how you can heal your teeth naturally. I was one of the first ones to join.  Having seen firsthand how using natural methods like oil pulling can help stall and even help with the curing of teeth issues. Oil pulling is not the only thing that you can do to help with your own oral wellness. In fact there are many things that you could do which include making sure you are getting plenty of vitamin, D, K, and E, into your diet.

Did you know that vitamin K2 is one of the hardest vitamins to attain and without it, it is hard for the human body to process calcium and vitamin D.

Luv Naturals Product Line Review!

This post may contain affiliate links. Please see my Disclosure for more Info.

Well  guys I had the chance to buy the full the brand new product line from Kim Luv. Which if you follow her you know that it is called Luv Naturals. I follow Kim Luv, and I love her products. This woman has created a full pH balanced hair care product line tailored for women with kinky-er hair textures. She has spent many hours and years researching information, products, even the real science of what it takes to master ethnic textured hair.

I've been natural for a good little minute and never have I seen a full line, that worked this well on my type 4b/c hair as well as the luv naturals product line has in just one use. I have to give to Kim Luv, for taking the patience, determination and just pure want to formulate something so special as this.

Now I have to admit the products are a little bit on the more pricey side, but I have been known to pay more on other things so why not make the investment in my hair. In the video below, I do mention that I might not buy the shampoo again. Only because it's the only product in the whole line that did not impress me as much. I just don't consider it as great as my Griffin Remedy Shampoo. But that is just my opinion every ones hair responds differently to different things.

Your Hair might love it.

Now when it comes to the Don't be so Clingy Detangler, the Conditional Love, and the Love me and Leave me in Conditioner. These are my  faves! I am glad I took the time to invest in a small black owned business. Which has created some spectacular products, in my opinion for type kinky hair!

Living It Up In Choclate City D.C.!

This post may contain affiliate links. Please see my Disclosure for more Info.

I just came back from visiting my Brother Greg who lives in Chocolate City D.C.. We had a great time, I had the chance to hang out with family and friends who I have not seen in long time. Childhood friends are always great to hang around because you get to reminisce about how it was growing up together. Along with laughing about all the weird crazy things you did as a child.

These past couple of weeks have been really busy for myself and my husband with traveling and all. Soon as we got back he went to Las Vegas for a wedding, I decided not to go because two of my kids are now sick with some sort of bug. That is one thing I do not like to do, is leave my kids when they are sick. I rather be with them than leave them in time of need.

Oh well there will be another time for Vegas!

Anyhow I wanted to post a couple pics to show my family and I in D.C. So if you have been wondering where I've been. I have been hanging out with family and enjoying their company.

Le Beurre :Shea Butter Review

This post may contain affiliate links. Please see my Disclosure for more Info.

Over the past few weeks, I have been trying and testing out a new Shea butter formula from a company called Le Beurre Shop. I love Shea butter, in fact, it is the main thing that I use to moisturize my skin above regular lotion.

When Shea butter is mixed with essential oils, and aromatic fragrances it can really have a really cool, soothing effect on the body.

If you're not familiar with Shea butter, it is derived from the Shea nut tree in Western Africa in which the nut itself. Is dried and grounded then boiled down to extract the oily substance which then solidifies to form butter.

Shea butter is full of so many nutrients that are great for the skin. Such as Vitamin A, E, F, Fatty Acids, and minerals to protect, moisturize, and even heal the skin. It can be used as a body moisturizer for dry skin, a hair styler, a scalp soother, and even to heal wounds. Shea has also been known to help with arthritis and eczema.

However not all Shea butter formulations are the same. Some are dry, some smooth, and others more creamy and rich.

So when I received my Le Beurre Shop Shea butter in the mail. I was really excited. Shea butter has always done wonders for my skin when it comes to dryness and sealing in moisture.

The shipment arrived really fast, within a couple of days!

It had really pretty packing, and all the Shea butter was firmly packed in nice glass containers with adorable little tops.

All of their Shea butters are made with:

1. Grape-seed Oil  – This helps to tighten and tone the skin, by locking in the moisture.

2. Jojoba Oil – This helps to nourish and revitalize the skin without weighing the skin down with oils.

3. Essential Oils – These treat acne, wrinkles, and inflammations, and protect the body from infection while at the same giving a calming relaxing effect.

4. Shea Butter – From Africa and full of nutrients.

5. Rice Powder –  Is used to treat skin issues such as acne, and helps to absorb oil giving skin a nice matte finish that is not oily.

6. Purified Water – Free of chemicals, and impurities.

I received 4 sample sizes, and one really full 2oz size.

The ones which I got were,

Beurre Shea Butter Cream {essential} Formula

Beurre Shea Butter Cream – Lemon Grass

Beurre Shea Butter Cream – Vanilla

Beurre Shea Butter Cream – White Amber

Beurre Shea Butter Cream – Golden sand

All the flavors or Scents are really wonderful, not too strong, not too light.

The Essential Shea Butter in the 2oz size is really light, soft, and creamy to the touch. It melts really fast into the skin, and I have been using it every day now for about three weeks right when I get out of the shower. I love the smell that it has a true Shea butter smell. If you do not know what shea butter smells like it has a natural earthy aroma to it.  I even used it on my lips as a natural lip balm and on my face every now than before I put on my makeup.

It was not oily at all.

le buerre shop2

The Lemon Grass is really earthy, has a thicker feel to me, is still smooth, and rubs into the skin really quick also. Great smell! I love earthy scents.

The Golden sand which is my favorite is not in the picture because I used it all up and lost it one day. Be leaving it in my purse somewhere.  It has more of a grainy feel, still smooth but feels awesome on the skin. This Shea butter formula smells really heavenly and great on the skin.

Beurre Shea Butter Vanilla is really smooth to the touch and moisturizes really well. I just do not care for the scent of vanilla in Shea butter, or in candles. But that's just my opinion. My husband loves vanilla and complimented me when I did have it on my skin for the day.

So to each his own.

The last one is the White Amber Shea formula. It smells sort of strong, but doable. I really loved this one too, because I'm just about out of it all. I have used this one mostly on my hands and feet the dryer parts of my body.

It worked really well on both my hands and feet!

So these are for sure a keeper!

All in all, I really like the Le Beurre Shea butter formulations, they seem to work really well on my skin. Rubbed on really well nice and smooth to the touch without a heavy oily feeling. I can do without the vanilla scent, however.  In the end, the stuff is wonderful, and highly recommend their Shea butter products.
