Natural Hair Twist Out – Making it Last

This post may contain affiliate links. Please see my Disclosure for more Info.

As you guys know this site is not only about natural living, but about me growing my hair in its natural state. Here in this video I share how I take a 3 day old twist out and make it last a couple of more days.  Having natural hair is fun because you get to play with it and try to figure out new ways of doing things,  since all I have been used to doing is my hair in its relaxed state. I had fun making this video and many more are to come.

I hope you enjoy the video.

how did you get your hair in this style? i want my hair like this. i have 4b hair and its soft, lots of fine strands (THICK), stretched its bra strap length (unstretched, as you said, it grows up and defies gravity 🙂 ), and has a low tolerance for manipulation. i don’t know if it will “stick together” and stay neat like this but please let me know how you did it. i am at a point to where i literally don’t know what  to do with my hair. i used to get it warm combed and basically wear it in a ponytail. i did that for years and am so tired of it. now i no longer get it warm combed and mostly wear buns. looking for styles that require as little as possible detangling. to me it is torture LOL

I have to say when I did the style it was with short hair, and worked better for me at that time. I just use shea butter did some mini twists not neatly parted ones however. Just made them as I went along, took them out in about a week and re-twisted for about a week at night and held down with some bobby pins. I also sprayed my hair everyday with a water and glycerin mixture everyday.
