I know I love to get things and purchase things all through out the year not just one time of the year, and being able to get unique gifts is all what I’m about. It keeps things fun and unexpected. Even more so if its all through out the year and not on one day that most people decide  to give gifts. I don’t celebrate Christmas, however I do like to give gifts and get gifts all through out the year.

So that Is why uncommon goods surprised me with the opportunity to review some of their products and give you my honest opinion on some of their great gifts under $25 and their unique gifts for women under $50.

I had to tell you about it.

If you never heard of Uncommon Goods like I had not before than you are in for a big treat!

Uncommon Goods is was founded in 1999 and located in Brooklyn, New York. It is a private owned company that strives and uses unique one of kind, handcrafted items from people that are in tuned with the environment and making a difference for the community.  One of things I love about Uncommon goods is that they make an uncommon effort to show and give support to local artists, designers who make handmade goods. In which one -third of the collections are of recycled/or up cycled materials with a strong belief in impacting the community in a positive way.

Some of the Unique Gifts: Uncommon Goods sent me was a kit of three customizable masks consisting of a cafe mocha mask which is great for depuffing and brightening the skin, a oatbrasion mask that exfoliates and calms the skin. Than a yogurt mask that will leave the skin feeling smooth and moisturized! I know mine did as you can see in the picture below.

I got a DIY lip balm kit which I have not used yet but plan to use in very near future, the only reason I have not made it yet is that I want to hold off and do it with my kids and turn it into a learning experience of some sort.

You know kitchen science type stuff. -;)

This DIY Lip Balm kit is comes with certified organic and fair trade ingredients and five different card such as mint cocoa lip balm which shows what each ingredient is for and how to make it.

Doesn’t it look great! I can already feel it on my lips!

One of my favorites is the MosoNatrual Air Purifying Bag. This little thing is powerful little miracle in a bag.  This bag is one of the most simplest easiest ways to clean your air and cost effective. It is made of Bamboo charcoal  that removes impurities through the air, such as mold, moisture and even odor. It even has been proven to reduce harmful gases in the air.  I placed this litle bag on top of my bookshelf in the main room and within a couple of hours the air felt a whole lot purer. I plan on getting one for each room, even the bathrooms! If you want to get a unique gift for the wife than this is one you might want to have a look into!

Last but not least is the Himalayan salt foot care kit,  this one was great. Himalayan salt is great for cooking, eating and even for exfoliating on the skin. I broke out my pedicure machine and put it to good use giving my feet a nice salt scrub with the Himalayan foot soak and scrub. I finished it off with the Naturelle Spassential beeswax foot balm and covered my feet with my Genius socks that uncommon goods sent me too.
