Jane Carter Nourish And Shine Review

For the past 9 months are so I have been using a line of products from the Jane Carter Solutions Hair line. I have will to admit that I have not used all the products all though, the few that I have used so far is the Jane Carter Nourish & Shine hair butter for dry hair and skin. Along with Jane Carter Leave in spray conditioner.

I do plan to use more, but at the moment those are the only ones that I have had the chance to use so far. Mrs Jane Carter does carry a line of shampoo products and I will review them in the coming week

The reason that I wanted to share this product is because I am absolutely in love with Jane carter products so far. In the beginning of my natural hair journey when I did not have any hair but a short Shenandoah hair cut. there was not much to do but wash and go’s and spray some leave in on.

Once my hair started getting longer, I was able to experiment with more hair products and styles. I did the whole Shea butter mixed with coconut and my hair did well with the mixture but it was like it was needing something else. It still sort of felt dry in a way, I realized that coconut oil in its pure form tends to make my hair feel crunchy

So when I heard about Jane Carter Nourish and Shine Butter I decided to give it try,  I ended up washing m my hair as usual and letting it air dry in  large twists than I did mini twists with the Jane carter hair butter. What I first noticed was that it was a whole lot creamier and silkier feeling than my homemade mixture. Than it glided on my hair really smoothly allowing me to do my twists out really well with great hold.

My Hair  looked shiner than ever, felt softer by far and even after 7 days passed by when I took the  mini twists out  the mixture gave my hair more definition and shine that it ever had. I have not tried many other butters, because when I do they have not lived up to this particular formulation for my hair.

I have a 4c hair type and this butter works fantastic.

My only drawback for the product is that I wish that for the price that it came in a larger amount which would last me a lot longer, but it lasts pretty long.

Some of the ingredients include:

  • Mango butter – Helps to prevent drying and increase elasticity.
  • Organic Illippe – Moisturizes and allows more hold.
  • Kokum Butter  and Shea butters
  • vitamins A, D,, E, and grapefruit extracts.

I love this product and it is one of my main staples when I do all my twists out and other styling methods.

I’m sure you will love it to!

Have u you tried the product?

I would love to know if you did:)

Thank you so much for this review! I have been looking for a product that I can buy locally that suits 4b/4c hair. I will give this butter a try. (:
